So this is my version of Regulus Black. Somehow, despite the fact that he's mentioned a total of three times in the books, and we never see him directly AT ALL, Regulus is my FAVOURITE CHARACTER of all seven Harry Potter novels. Do NOT ask me how this came about, I don't know.
Anyway, I was in Border's with my girlfriend and one of our friends, and I found the Hana Kimi artbook, flipped through it, and realized that Sano's little brother (whose name escapes me at the moment, and I'm too lazy to look it up just for this) LOOKS JUST LIKE MY VISION OF REGULUS. So I found a few pictures of him, and coloured this one.
I understand the placement of shadows and how wrinkles should look, and all that, but seriously, the practical work of putting in shading gives me a big fat F as a grade.
Sano's little brother is copyrighted to the author of Hana Kimi, Regulus Black is copyrighted to the brilliant Mrs Rowling.
Shin! That's it XD Thank you! I haven't read the manga in a long time, and it's not out in English yet I don't think. I'm glad you like it ^_^

I think I saw 19 the other day when I was out looking at Tsubasa. Have you seen the live-action dramas?

They're really awesome. You can find them on YouTube and Veoh, and there are two different versions. One is a taiwanese version, and it's different from the manga, and one is the japanese version, which follows it almost exactly as far as I can tell. If not exactly, then close enough. I haven't seen them all yet because my computer decided that it hated youtube, and shuts down whenever I try to watch something, but my friend says they're both excellent.

"My doctor says that I have a malformed public-duty gland and a natural deficiency in moral fiber, and that I am therefore excused from saving Universes."
Oh, this is so good. I love that somehow innocent but also a bit haughty look on his face.
You're right, he really looks like Regulus! That's pretty much how I've always imagined him.
And you're not the only one who likes Regulus very much, though he's not my favourite, his brother Sirius is . But Regulus is absolutely in my top five, he is so gorgeous.. I just wish, we would have heard even more about him

This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
